Advance Purchase - If rooms have been fully pre-paid they are non refundable and non-transferable for all room types.


Deposit Bookings: Following confirmation of your reservation, the deposit or the cost of two nights stay, whichever is the greater, becomes non-refundable should you cancel any part, or all of your reservation.


Deposit Bookings: When a cancellation is made within 21 days of arrival or by no shows a cancellation charge equal to the whole booking will become payable.


Where a reservation is made using debit or credit card the same card will be debited with the cancellation charge unless other payment methods are offered and approved.


When a room has been paid for in advance, payment will not be refunded upon cancellation.


Deposit Bookings: When a reservation is for a two night minimum stay or three night minimum bank holiday weekend stay, cancellation of only one or two nights will not be allowed and cancellations will be subject to full payment.


When a reservation is cut short after arrival the stay will be subject to payment in full.


We strongly advise guests to have appropriate travel insurance in place before they travel.


Smoking is not allowed in any of the bedrooms at Shoreline Guesthouse. We will impose a fine of a minimum £250, this cost will be charged to the credit/debit card you used to make the booking with, and will be applied immediately.  This charge is to cover the cost of closing the room, and for the room to undergo specialist cleaning, also if the costs are more, or we suffer further loss of business due to the smoke damage, we will (at our sole discretion) request the immediate further payment, either we will contact you or a third party will be instructed to contact you after your stay to recover our costs. The costs we incur if you smoke in our guesthouse include costs for specialist cleaning, repair or replacement of damage by you to our property, the cost of the room for any period it is unusable and our administration expenses.


Any damage caused to the rented room or property that is caused by the guest, must be paid for before leaving the property.


Late Bookings

Where bookings are made for arrival to be within 72 hours, full payment will be made on the credit/debit card given, and no refunds offered for any cancellations.
